Complaint Regarding OMB Violence
In January 2014, at the OMB quarterly public meeting, I was physically assaulted by two OMB investigators and two OMB security officers at the behest of the OMB administration - in particular Kathleen Haley. I was physically slammed against a wall for the sin of desiring to ask a question of the public speaker who spoke at the open public meeting that day. Their desire was to provoke an incident with me, because at the time I had filed a Complaint in Portland District Federal Court. They were unsuccessful.
At the next public quarterly meeting in April 2014, I was threatened with physical violence by Lanny Bennett, one of the Security guys. He is an old, frail, whacked out ex cop with a gun who personally told me that he was an alcoholic, though supposedly he no longer drinks alcohol - if he doesn't then he is what you call a "dry drunk". He and his morbidly obese security partner Dennis Dalton, who also was involved in assaulting me, had me in a room alone, both of them armed and blocking my ability to get out.
I wrote a complaint and sent it to a number of bureaucrats. It was a couple of years before I attempted to go back to an OMB quarterly public meeting. I made sure I went with another physician. By then, Lanny Bennett and Dennis Dalton were gone. A number of individuals that have come to monitor the OMB at the public meetings have been chased out one way or another. With COVID they shut down all public access.
You can see the response from the Governors office. They don't care what happens at these meetings or what tyranny the OMB is involved with. This was also emailed to all elected State public servants. Not one response.
The first download is my letter of complaint regarding the violent incidents I experienced at the OMB. It was sent to the OMB, Governor, Secretary of State, Oregon DOJ, and all State Senators and Representatives.
The second download is the copy I sent to Oregon State Senators Steiner-Hayward and Alan Bates - both of whom are MDs. An email copy of this was sent to all Oregon State Senators. Not one reply.
The third download is a letter I just happened to be sent a copy of by the State Auditors office. It is their response to my complaint.
The fourth download is the letter I received one year after my complaint from the Governor's office. The Governor and other elected officials don't care about an out of control OMB. Nor do they give a damn about the people on Oregon.

Update 2/13/2019
In July 2018 and January 2019 I attended OMB public meetings with Dr. Michael Murphy. Nicole Krishnaswami is now the Executive Director of the OMB. Makes sense - she was Kathleen Haley's protégée for 10 plus years at the OMB. Krishnaswami is eyeball deep in the corruption.
Lanny Bennett and Dennis Dalton have been replaced by another set of individuals. Now the OMB has four security personnel with guns to oversee these public events. They must be expecting quite the assault on the OMB meeting. I have never seen this in any other government setting except entering a courthouse. The OMB obviously understands the horror and destruction they have brought upon their licensees, their families, and the patients.
At the July 2018 meeting, once the OMB saw we were there, they allowed no public input. The head investigator, Eric Brown, who left the OMB in 2020, passed a note to the acting Chairman of the Board, Dr. Dean Gubler. Same old game - new day.
